One of my larger handmade and coiled long leaf pine needle baskets inspired by the materials and techniques of the Pomo Tribes in Napa, California and the Low Country weavers of Charleston, South Carolina. Here I have added the non-traditional elements of embroidery thread and metallic cord, as well as a ceramic center (that I have backed with leather) made for me by Ceramacist, Trish Danby, of Napa, California.
