I used more sweet grass in this petite basket than I usually do. I just love the fragrance! The pretty ceramic centerpiece was made for me by ceramicist, Trish Danby.
This is just the right size for small things like keys, jewelry, and even a pretty place for him-drum items like paper clips.
A basket like this makes a perfect gift for housewarming, wedding, Birthday, or Christmas.
I love the idea of using sustainable, biodegradable, and natural materials for storage in place of plastic. I grow most of my materials on our lovely Napa, California property.
This basket took several days to make. I work on more than one basket at a time so it’s hard to be super accurate with time. On occasion, though, I use an app on my phone to clock in and out of basket work time.
